Army Field Railway HF 110 C

The HF 110 C was a 0-6-0 locomotive for field railways built in World War II. It had outside frames and outside cylinders and was available for rail gauges of 600, 750 and 760 mm. The tender carried 6 m³ of water and 2.5 tonnes of coal, but for short distances the locomotive carried an additional 0.6 m³ of water and 0.5 t of coal.

130 were built by several manufacturers in Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia, most in the war and some in 1951. After the war, they were used by a multitude of civil users, most in Germany and Austria. Today many are still existing, with a handful still in working order. Three are even stored at sugar factories in India and Brazil.
