The Mikawa Railroad operated six B-B steeplecab locomotives for 1,500 V DC which were designated Ki 10 to Ki 15. They weighed around 30 tonnes and had four traction motors with 60 kW each. The first two had been built by Nippon Sharyō in 1923 and three more were delivered by Mitsubishi until 1929. The sixth one had originally been built by Mitsubishi in 1923 for the Ichibata Electric Railway, but soon came to the Mikawa.
In 1941, when the Mikawa became part of the Nagoya Railroad (also called Meitetsu), they became DeKi 301 to 306. After the first two had been retired due to damage in 1964 and 1966, only one was retired due to decreased demand in 1984. After the last three were retired from regular service in 2014, DeKi 303 again escaped from the scrapping torch and found its new task in depot shunting.
