Parallel to the 80 locomotives with the numbers E 1 to E 80 from SEECF, another 80 similar locomotives were built by other manufacturers. The mechanical part came from Bâtignolles-Châtillon and the electrics from Oerlikon. They were initially also used in front of express trains between Paris and Vierzon, where they were soon replaced by the 2D2 5500. After the Second World War, they almost exclusively pulled freight trains until the last ones were finally retired in 1971.
