Crown Prince Rudolf Railway III

The series III was an 0-6-0 freight locomotive, similar to many others in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It had outside frames, outside cylinders, Hall cranks and inside valve gear. A total of 43 locomotives were built between 1868 and 1873 by Sigl at his Wien and Wiener Neustadt works, by Maffei and in the short-lived factory at Mödling. They received only even numbers between 2 and 74 and between 98 and 108.

They came to the kkStB in 1887 when the KRB was nationalized and later became class 34. In 1901, 34.29 was rebuilt into the 0-6-2T tank locomotive 65.01. 34.33 received a Brazda feed water heater. After World War I, 18 came to the BBÖ and retained their class number 34. They were used until 1929. The PKP had received nine locomotives, but these were already withdrawn before 1924. While the railway of the SHS state got seven and withdrew them between 1930 and 1932, the FS designated their three locomotives class 194 and used the last one until 1925.
