The series 650 of the Staatsspoorwegen was a 0-4-0T shunting locomotive built between 1901 and 1907. With a wheelbase of only 2.200 mm (7 ft 2 1/2 in), they could negotiate curves with radii of 40 metres (131 feet). The first ten were built by Breda, 17 by the SS workshop at Tilburg and three by the SS workshop at Zwolle. Original numbers were 651 to 680.
When NS was founded, they were numbered 8101 to 8130. In 1937, the first two were scrapped. In World War II, 13 came to Germany. From there, 8107 went even further to Czechoslovakia after the war and got the ČSD number 214.0500. It already got back to the Netherlands in January 1947. At this time, withdrawals of the rest began and was finished in 1955.
