The Eurostar 320, officially called British Rail class 374, is a fleet of 17 high speed trains for traffic between mainland Europe and London, through the Channel Tunnel. The number in the name stands for the top speed of 320 km/h, or 200 mph. The tender for the new train that included special requirements for running through the long tunnel was won by Siemens, against which Alstom lodged an appeal. Despite these problems, the new 16-car train, based on the Velaro Family, started service in 2015.

Unlike the previous TGV-based Eurostar, it does not have a power car on each end, but every second car has four traction motors, while others carry the pantographs and transformers. So it does not only resemble the German ICE 3 (MS) and its cousins in several countries, but also has the same layout. It is equipped for running under 25 kV AC and 1.5 and 3 kV DC. So it can operate in Britain, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, but not in Germany.
